Albany County resident, Wyatt Bleau, age 27, of Guilderland, was arrested following an investigation into crimes that allegedly occurred over a seven-day period, beginning on Thursday, Aug. 11.
During that time, Bleau held the victim against her will and repeatedly sexually assaulted her at his home, she told Guilderland Police.
He was arrested on multiple charges, including first-degree rape and strangulation.
Bleau is a registered sex offender with a prior rape conviction stemming from an assault involving two women that occured in July 2017, according to records.
A judge sentenced him to 18 months in prison following his conviction in January 2018.
Investigators are now working to determine whether there are additional victims.
